Michael was born and raised in New York. The rich history and diverse cultural influences fostered his exploration of musical creativity. From an early age Michael was active in the arts; playing trumpet, singing in choir, and musical theater.

At 20, he picked up with guitar and began writing songs. For the past 15 years he traveled North America refining his craft. Now based in the Pacific NW where he performs, composes, and teaches privately.
